Overall History:
Lets see, before the war broke out to its current stage, I used to be the leader to a famous scouting party for Kalimdor, searching for various knicknacks in the name of Ultros. One day, I, by myself, got word of the ORIGINAL fountain of youth, with which the powers of its waters could truly make a man immortal to anything, if you could drink it, for it was also told to make the imbiber go insane and commit hari kari(hara kiri to the picky peeps) before the effects could kick in. So, I took my platoon and off we went. However, I had a bad feeling if I shared this finding with my crew, but I blew it off, at least for a while. Once we got to the proposed location, there wasnt anything there, and the men started conidering me a liar and a thief, among other things. After discovering this via eavesdroppingI( I know, I'm a bad kid)and I solved the matter. I told them they were either with me, or against me. Well, they certainly didn't join me, and I didn't wanna deal with the whole continent of Kalimdor, especially Ultros, so I killed them all before they could go and nark on me, and I plucked out the map from my pocket. It said I was right on top of it, but there wasn't a thing in sight. So I got to thinkin, and I
started blowin up everything in sight. I got to likin the chaos and mayhem so much I just kept doin it even after I found the Fountain, after killin the traumatized locals, of course. I walked over to it, and I heard a voice in my noggin, callin me to my true cause, the cause of Bannoran. I drank from the well nervously, expecting to lose my mind , or sumthin at least, but the voice continued to assure me that I'd be fine, and I was. Afterwards, the voice told me to make the biggest fire I'd ever seen, and sleep in it. Way I had it figured, the voice was right about everything so far as far as my wellbeing was concerned, plus a gut feeling told me thatI could trust it, as if I'd known it my entire life, so I made a fuckin huge pyre, big enough to engulf a city, and strolled right in. It hurt like a bitch at first, but after a few minutes, the pain stopped, and i was dead as a doornail so to speak. When I woke up, I was in the basement of an arena, and I sorta felt odd,as if I'd lost some weight, so I found a mirror to look, and I noticed that I had flesh no more, that I was truly Undead, only I didn't die. "Axel, you just made a huge change in life, partner, now u gotta see to it that u can survive here. If u haven't noticed yet, you got yourself a new trick or two from that nap. Why dontcha go try em out at this here arena, make yourself known, otherwise, well, you'll be dead by dawn." After hearing this, I did a little lookin at meself and lo and behold, I got some skill with magic. I went out to the arena and fought round after round, the audience astonished by what I could do. I'd burn em and freeze em, freeze em and smash em, drench em and zap em, you name it, I did it. I was able to do anything magically possible, but I felt like a gap in power was there, as if sumthin was holdin me back. During this time, one of the rounds required that I used only melee weapons, or the rulekeepers'd toast me, and I didn't feel like puttin up with them just yet, so I played along. Dam, that little snooze, i aint got a clue how, but it done made me adept with all manners of weapons too! After the whole arena thing, I started explorin the continent, After all, I had never been to Bannoran before. As I went, I discovered a ton of undead, but they were mindless, like a hive with no queen. And they weren't too happy to see me, so I had to go and prove to them that I planned to stay. After a few of them wasted their lives, I made it clear that they couldn't kill me, and not only did they understand and accept this, but they worshipped me as their leader. Once I figured this out, I was quick to start training to work cooperatively. First starting with battle formations, then with weapons training, these fine undead learned rather quickly for merely being bags of bones. Some were even capable of various schools of magic, some being pyros, others cryos, even a few aeromancers and geomancers in the mix. Upon completion of this, I started to teach them construction, and I called it a day on that note. After I woke up, one of my men urged me to follow, which I did, only to discover a Labryinth like clty/fortress was upon me.I was shocked as to how they were able to do this so quickly, and I also pondered how they got the materials to build such a magnificent metropolis. Upon asking, they led me to some of the mages that I trained the other day, and it dawned on me. They warped the stuff here from other locations they had been back when they were human, refashioned it into what they needed. The soldiers I trained did the manual labor, with mages acting as cranes via levitation, and they didn't even break a sweat to do it!! As I explored the place to memorize it, I found the throne room, and DAM, was it nice!
